A reporter asked Serena Williams why she wasn't smiling... and she was having none of it
ON TUESDAY NIGHT, Serena Williams beat her sister Venus Williams in her US Open quarter final.
Afterwards, she was obliged to give a press conference and, understandably, was a bit wrecked and not particularly excited about the prospect of answering the same questions over and over again.
And so when a reporter asked her why she wasn’t smiling, she was having none of it.
Italian journalist Ubaldo Scanagatta pointed out that Serena Williams wasn’t laughing or smiling as usual and asked what was wrong.
